“We have already urged Belgrade to make a statement. Such statements should not be made through the media, nor through the Telegram channel, nor through leaks of information, but through the officially announced stance of the Serbian side”, Zaharova said, Danas wrote.
She added that the facts should be discovered and the relevant conclusions drawn on the basis of this, because it is an extremely important “> for bilateral relations”.
Zakharova said Moscow is deeply concerned about allegations of Serbia's involvement in the sale of weapons in Ukraine.
“We are carefully following this story, we paid attention to the recent discussion on this topic in Serbia's Parliament. The information being circulated certainly causes the deepest concern”, she said in a comment published on the Ministry's page.
Previously, claims were shown in Russian media and in Telegram channels that Serbia secretly sent 3,500 missiles to missile systems “Grad” in Ukraine via Turkey and Slovakia.
