In his reaction to Twitter, Rama asks whether the use of terms with the names of capitals, not states, is a serious mistake or a pencil.
“Belgrade and Pristina? A serious mistake or a pencil? Its official name is the Agreement for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia. It would be unacceptable if the secretary - general did not deliberately use the appropriate appointment. Please give clarification as soon as”, the Albanian prime minister wrote.
In the UN response the day before for the Ohrid meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, it is said that “Secretary General welcomes the EU's recent announcement of the agreement on the road to normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina. It is now important that both sides work swiftly and confidently to realise all obligations set out in the agreement. The United Nations is committed to supporting implementation of agreements stemming from the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue mediated by the EU”.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at the joint meeting in Ohrid with representatives of the European Union, as well as Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, agreed on the annex to implement the EU-proposed agreement, but there were no signatures.
