Health workers continue to express dissatisfaction with low wages after adopting the new Law. Nurses, technical service, ambulance drivers, are just a few categories from this sector that don't get paid for additional jobs. They have called on relevant institutions for review of their demands.
The lack of additions for daily tasks, night shift, extra hours and holidays has led a class of the health sector to receive smaller salaries.
So why with the new cofficiency for them is meant to get a salary for 80 euros more, now at the removal of additional payments, they get a lower salary than with the old cofficiency.
To that end, a KKUK aid worker says he is not feeling well with his extra payment.
Nurses who call it discrimination are facing a similar problem.
Winning Havol says that if additional hours are not paid, they can boycott the job because they cannot work outside what they are not paid for.
Linked to this issue, from the health union at KKUK have said they would not shut down until they make their demands, Kanal 10 reports.
Agron Kryeziu, deputy chairman of the Union, has said the request for additional custody can be realised because the USKKKUK is on its own payments to the issue.
And the USKKUK has not returned answers to their request of health workers.
So have the Ministry of Health and the Government of Kosovo.
