Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to nationals. Following statements made in recent days, today Sweden's coach, Janne Andersson, formalised his decision and summoned Milan's assailant for the upcoming matches against Belgium and Azerbaijan, worth Euro-2024 qualifications.
The 41-year-old returned to the field with the Redsies several weeks after his long recovery after last summer's knee surgery. His last appearance with the Swedish fanele dates back to March 29, 2022, a match against Poland.
Ibrahimovic has 121 presentations for Sweden with 62 goals marked. In recent days Andersson, the Swedish coach had predicted the decision.
