Kosovo boxers lost a dream after aiming to win medals in this prestigious race.
The boxing from Gollaku was equipped with visas from India only yesterday afternoon, but that was insufficient for the fact that the Indian government set unacceptable conditions.
As the Kosovo Box Federation reports on “Gazeta Express”, Indians issued visas yesterday, but on the condition that it was rejected by the Kosovo side, which was consulted and co-ordinated with Kosovo authorities.
More precisely, Kosovo's best boxer was conditioned to appear on the World of India without state symbols, and if he eventually won a medal, he would not be able to listen to and enjoy the state anthem, nor could the flag or other symbols appear.
So these conditions were unacceptable because Donjeta intended to compete unconditionally, the same as other countries in the world that will begin Wednesday.
In this case, Donette was devastated because this is the third time she can participate in the world held in the Indian state.
In the first two times, she failed to obtain a visa, but in the third time, the Indians left partially but not enough.
Injustices against Kosovo athletes continue to be present, despite the fact that our state has been independent for 15 years, writes “Gazeta Express”.
Donjet Sadiku had the potential to bring Kosovo medals from the World of Boxing, as she had won bronze medals in the World and last European.
The Kosovo Box Federation has warned that it will complain in India about the conditions and inequality it displayed, leaving out a long-exert racer who had exerted much sweat to take part in the biggest boxing race.
