But, it is not known whether Nasim Haradinaj has been allowed to come to Kosovo for his brother's funeral ceremony. Specialised Chambers in The Hague have told Gazeta Express that so far there is no decision on the issue.
By all means, according to the legal framework, specialised rooms allow prisoners to apply to the competent panel when there are convincing humanitarian grounds. The panel would decide on such requests. There is no public appearance or decision addressed to this case”, the Specialised Chamber Media Office said.
“All public documents, including the protection and judges' decisions, are published on the page of Specialised Chambers, so that when there is any other information about this issue, it will be available, if there is one, it will be published on the page of Kosovo Specialised Chambers”, said further in response.
Agron Haradinaj has been suffering from a serious illness for years.
The news of his death has been issued by the KLA War Veterans' Organisation.
“He was the youngest political prisoner in Yugoslavia at that time as he was identified as one of the best fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army”, OVL's announcement said.
