Skenderaj and Mitrovica are the worst affected municipalities, leaving behind Istog, Rahovecin and Podujevo. Officials from these municipalities have stressed that they are at the conclusion of the final report on three categories: family economies, businesses and agriculture.
The next week, it is expected that municipalities damaged by recent floods will hand over reports with the assessment of damages caused in three categories -- family economies, businesses and agriculture. Major damage has been caused in Skenderaj, where they total over 15m euros, municipality spokesman Amir Lushtaku tells Radio Kosovo.
“Commission for assessment of damage in the Sculered Community is on the verge of finalisation. This report at an extraordinary meeting will be handed over on Thursday's Civil Convention, and after approval by the Parliament, it will address the assessment commission at the central level, with all damage in all fields, family economies, businesses, schools, cars, infrastructure and so on. The damage caused, as has been a prediction, is over 15 million”, he said.
