French media recently reported that there may have been tricks of results in Kosovo football at several matches, thus shocking sports opinion in our country.

French newspaper “Le Figaro” reported that one of Kosovo's Superleague clubs is involved in this vicinity and that nine people have already been arrested in France for this issue, Kosova Prees broadcast.

Contacted by Kosovo Press on this issue, Kosovo Football Federation President Agim Ademi has said that even further they are awaiting new developments, as there is no confirmation from any official institution that any Kosovo clubs are involved in this vicinity so far.

There is nothing to comment on at the moment. So far we only have dry media reports. No official institution has confirmed anything about this issue. We are waiting and willing to co-operate with all responsible institutions. I'm ready and I'm going to fight hard these negative phenomena in football, but we still have nothing confirmed. After several people were reportedly arrested, then we are waiting for what will come out of this”, Ademi said.

In connection with these reports, the National Council for Prevention and Sanction of Violence and Negative Dukes has also reacted on Friday, at sports events which has called for any alleged investigation into sports matches.

On the other hand, the State Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police have also confirmed that they are dealing with the treatment of any established doubts. / KP
