MP PDK, Hajdar Beqaj, has said this bill is in conflict with the Constitution.
The opposition parties have not participated in the processing group, for the reason they consider it contrary to the Constitution. Claiming to apply seizures through civil procedure, the investigation carried out by an agency outside the justice system will be violated in essence of freedoms and guaranteed rights under constitution”, he said.
The bill for the Bureau of Confiscating Unjustified Riches has been passed in the votes of 66 deputies.
Six deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo, along with majority deputies, have voted for.
On the other hand, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu said the aim of the bill is not to hit any public officials, but only the unwarrantable property of any official.
The goal is not to hit an official, but the goal is to combat the unwarranted wealth of any official”, she said.
