For almost all of us, it seemed as if Kylian Mbappe would join Real Madrid last summer, as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
However, this move did not occur, and the French assailant extended the contract until the summer of 2025.
Despite that, speculations about Mbappas's future are still continuing.
According to the “The Athletic”, a transition of the former Monaco striker to “Santiago Bernabeu” could occur in the passing term of next year's summer, without even paying any Spanish club award.
Under the current agreement, Mbppe reportedly has the right to terminate his current contract with the SPG before reaching last year, which means he can leave for free in 2024.
The 23-year-old reportedly remains very interested in joining Real Madrid, and club officials are willing to welcome him with open arms, despite what happened last year.
It remains to be seen whether these reports come true, as well as whether Real Madrid will wait to sign with Mbappen by next year
