So Barcelona Laporte's president says he saved the club from financial collapse after selling players and reducing their wages.
“We have signed players for 215m euros and sold for 141m euros, made a competitive team for 74m euros”.
“We have lowered the wage bill by about 100m euros, and thus are planning to cut another 70m euros. We have saved Barcelona from financial ruin, but”, he said.
