This, according to him, because in local elections turnout is less than in those for power we drive.
He added it means goodbye if you lose in the race for general elections.
“Under party rules no leader resigns for local elections. It's not the local election test of the leader, but I set the standard. If there is loss in general elections and there is loss in any circumstance; goodbye. And I will defeat Rama in general elections”, Berisha said.
On 11 February, Sali Berisha has called the fourth national protest since returning to the leadership of the Democratic Party.
The protest call was warned by Berisha a few days ago and taken in response to the question of former FBI agent Charls Mcgonigal, where Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is also mentioned in the investigative file.
