Mitchell is former OSCE official in Kosovo, while countering questions about him are continuing to protect Hashim Thaci through lawyer Gregory Keohe, who focused on the KLA organisational structure, reports “Battle for Justice”.
Mitcell acknowledged that the Kosovo Liberation Army was not unified by its central level.
Keohe quoted Mitchell's statement in Milutinevich's trial. Referring to those statements, Mitchell confirmed that the KLA's command structure differed greatly from that of the Serb.
On the basis of that, she acknowledged that the KLA structure was horizontal, while the KLA's command structure went vertically so with effective command.
Also, to the commanders of KLA areas, Mitchell claimed that they were more commanders of local levels, nor was co-ordination exactly the horizontal level.
Keohe also introduced the witness to an expert act by a Prosecution Military analyst in TPNJ, in the case of Slobodan Milosevic, whom Mitchell said he has never seen.
Also, he said he had no knowledge of either an order presented to him by Keohe, Serbian authorities to connect radio stations at the homes of civilians. So according to Keohes, this order was also to arm the civilian population, which Mitchell said I don't know anything about.
