Rohde: Kosovo's commitment is foundation of association

Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn RTV21, in an interview for RTV21 has said it is not a discussion whether the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement should be signed, but its implementation by both Kosovo and Serbia. According to him, implementation of the agreement is very important.

“I've said before, what we need now is implementation and not discussion about how we get there. Because there were previously many agreements that were signed but not implemented. Hence, we are now focused on action. We now see the implementation of the energy guide as well as the implementation that means people are changing car plates. For us, implementing the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement is important. Kosovo must do its tasks, and also Serbia”, he has said.

Ambassador Rohde has asked the Government to fulfil its obligation to declare the Association of Serb-run municipalities.

The engagement of Kosovo from 2015 is the founding of the Association of Communities with the Serbian Majority and parts of the Brussels and Ohrid Agreements for Kosovo, and the main part is the founding of the AKSHS.
