Mirush Kabashi was born on April 17th 1948 in Shkodra, but grew up in Durres. His origin was from Gjakova.

Kabashi was an actor of about 100 roles, in theatre and movies. He has often been a host of many artistic activities.

He has been named one of the greatest performers of poetry in Albania.
