Chief of the Foreign Affairs Commissions of the 12 European countries through a joint statement to European High Representative for Foreign Policy and European Commission Vice President Josep Borrell and EU Special Representatives for the Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak have sought to remove all negative measures imposed on Kosovo and to resume full co-operation with the Government of Kosovo.

In June, the European Union had imposed restrictive measures on Kosovo as a result of increasing tensions in the country's north during May.

Tensions had risen since May 24th, days when Albanian mayors of four northern municipalities had been placed in municipal facilities after being elected to those positions in elections held in April after municipal officials of the Serb community had abandoned institutions in four municipalities in northern Kosovo months earlier.

The move had been rejected by protesters from the Serb community, who on May 29th attacked KFOR soldiers, police officers and journalists who witnessed the events.

Tens of KFOR soldiers were injured and injured by protest violence.

In the joint statement, which KALLXO.com, the leaders of the United Kingdom parliamentary commissions -- Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Czechia, the Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Bulgaria and Denmark -- stress that boycotting the 23 April municipal elections at the request of Serbian List, the attack on KFOR on May 29th, the unlawful ban of Kosovo police officials from Serbian authorities on 14 June, and the attack on Banjska 24 September reveal an aggression scheme aimed at Kosovo's mini-d destabilisation.

It is vital that the international community reject irredentism and aggression and reaffirm support for Kosovo's independence and sovereignty” BAR at their request.

Also, the heads and vice heads of these countries' Foreign Affairs Commissions have cited the attack on Kosovo Police by a group of dozens of armed men in Zvecan Banjska, led by former Serbian List Vice President Milan Radojic on 24 September.

They say this attack marked a significant escalation.

According to them, the situation could easily have gone to a broader escalation had it not been for the Kosovo Police's professionalism and courage.

One member of the police was killed, another was wounded and another injured in this attack, which Kosovo authorities named terrorist.

“The amount and kind of weapons confiscated after the attack raises serious questions about what role the Serbian state may have had in supporting the operation” in the statement.

The signatories of the declaration call on the EU, the US and the United Kingdom to undertake a thorough investigation into the Banjska attack and commit to publishing the results.

The statement was signed by Alicia Kearns (head of the UK's Foreign Affairs Commission), Michael Roth (head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of Bundestag, Germany), Charles Flanagans (head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Republic of Ireland), Pavel Fischer (head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Protection and Security of the Czech Republic Senate), Rihard Koles (head of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Commission), Marek Office of the Parliament (Cent Parliament Speaker for Foreign Affairs), Zy Commission for the Romanian Parliament (Phelminary Commission for Foreign Affairs), Jakatilitilitika's Chairman of the Parliament, Marko50 Commission for Foreign Affairs, Pagan Commission for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Affairs Committee (J.
