Osmani with Rohden talk about recent developments in the country

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has hosted the ambassador of Germany's Federal Republic to Kosovo today, Jorn Rohde.

According to a communique from the presidency, the meeting has been discussed for recent developments in the country and the possibilities of deepening co-operation between Kosovo and Germany.

“A meeting discussed Kosovo's participation in COP28, the main global conference on climate change, as well as steps forward after this historic participation of the Republic of Kosovo at the level of head of state”.

“In this spirit, Ambassador Rohde expressed Germany's readiness to continue supporting Kosovo in achieving the goals that contribute to addressing climate challenges in the country”, the presidency communiqué says.

Otherwise, Osmani today has also met with US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier, where they have talked about increased co-operation opportunities.
