Opposition confirms it gets official draft of Association

Opposition parliamentary parties have confirmed they have accepted the new draft Association from the European Union.

From the Democratic Party of Kosovo, they have confirmed that they have officially accepted a draft in English.

Meanwhile, AAK spokesman, Qemali Kuqirim, said comments from this party would take place after discussing within party bodies.

“Alance for the Future of Kosovo has acknowledged the official version of the Serb Major Community Association draft. The same has distributed to all members of the Alliance's leadership. It has been requested by members of the chairmanship tosi they make their comments about the draft status and the same will be discussed at the Alliance's next chairmanship meeting, called December 7th, at 5:00. After comments by members of the leadership, The AAK will come out with a public stance regarding the draft association status. By that time there will be no further pronociations on this”, he said.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said the draft for Association has been presented only to the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, since mediators have sought full privacy for the process.

The opposition in Parliament had criticised Kurt for not presenting the draft, saying they could not discuss something they saw.

Osman and Kurti for this draft have said that it was written by mediators carefully on the Constitutional issue.
