The Democratic League of Kosovo has rejected the draft status state for the Union's proposed association.

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, at the assembly of the party's General Council, said this draft post envisions autonomy.

“Today, there are 1 weeks since the LDK has officially accepted the draft association mediator, so two months after the presentation in Kosovo, 40 days after the same was accepted by the government. There have been intentions of once being given just to read this draft. I didn't accept such an approach, so the LDK doesn't act. For the LDK, it has been a concern to close the Kurti government airly before and after its admission. Shutting down a document before the political spectrum is an unprecedented approach”, he said.

Further, he unveiled his position on the document.

“As chairman I'm giving a few first marks on this document. It comes as autonomy with potential access to federalization, starts with Resolution 1244 as parallel to the declaration of independence, ending with referees as parallel to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo”, he said.

Abdixhiku said it is meaningless how Kosovo institutions have accepted such association.

I believe that behind this disaster lies a deep disability and a path to population that brings us to a difficult situation. The DK cannot support any product that emerges outside the framework of the Constitution. We have always unveiled that attitude”, he declared.

The LDK leader argued away that “the popular government has managed to turn dialogue into a dialogue that gives autonomy” for 2 years.

Furthermore, he declared that popularisation has managed to keep Kosovo sanctioned.
