Who is Lupco Palevski, the 14-year-old suspect in Skopje?

On the evening of November 21st, a day before the kidnapping of 74-year-old Pance Zezovski, he had made a report on the social Facebook network that the next scheduled show for Sunday would be postponed for Tuesday, November 23rd.

On the day of Jezovski's kidnapping, he made no post, while after the kidnapping of 14 years, he wrote that his childhood had passed by the school “pestaloci”, the same one Vanja Gjerchevska taught.

As they continued their search for Vanya, in his posts, the suspect in her kidnapping and murder, used hate speech and extreme nationalism.

Lupco Palevski and four other people, including his daughter's father, following an intensive investigation by Macedonian police and prosecutors, resulted in the perpetrators of the kidnapping, while Palevski and their execution.

A day before the investigation was published, Palevski had escaped from Northern Macedonia, while on December 5th, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski announced that he had been arrested in Turkey and that they have already launched procedures for his extradition, while other suspects are currently in custody in Skopje.

Lupco Palevski-Palco, former founder of weekly “Start”, through which he wanted to be present in the media, so except for his personal podcast, which has 2,500 followers, he also took space in the pro-rus portal “Informix”, according to research on Russian influence in northern Macedonia.

Palco is known for his broad opinion since 1998, when he became chairman of the Macedonian Social Democratic League branch (LSDM) in Skopje, which is now headed by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski.

Experts contacted by Radio Free Europe say this is the period when it is given the opportunity to approach former secret police director Zoran Verushevski in that period.

Lupco Paleski's name -Palco became the unpleasant “for everyone when it became known that he was arrested on suspicion that he was hiding behind the channel at YouTube “Nikola Tesla”, where surveillance conversations of politicians, journalists, businessmen and public characters were published in 2017.

But I suppose he has been in communication with MPB people for a long time and that question should be addressed directly to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski. He currently bears political responsibility and should say whether Palevski has communicated with services. The fact that there is no more serious epilogue for so many of his works is surprising”, Trajanov says.

He has been doing business for a long time in the field of construction and building objects in downtown Skopje, some of them without permission, and the most famous among them is the object known as “Tifani”.

In 2021, the Citizens' Association for Popularisation of Free Thought and Media “Desna Republika” was registered on Palevski's behalf. (Right Republic), whose address is also in downtown Skopje.
Its founders are 14 other people, among them are some of the current suspects in the two murders.

At the beginning of this year, in January, the rightist party Desna, whose address is in the Kisella Voda residence, was founded.

Her name means Lupco Palevski -Palcho is right, which promotes radical ideas because of <x0-traventive” that was happening to the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

According to reports, he strongly opposed the country's Euro-Atlantic integration and promotes some of the ideas for approaching Russia.

The gatherings he organized with his supporters were often held in church objects.

The party has also created a declaration against changing the name, status and dignity of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, the Ohrid Archbishop.

Party distanced by Palco

Through a report on her Facebook profile, the party Desna has issued a statement in which it claims the rest of membership has faced shock and distrust of developments. According to the announcement, this party requires strict punishment for Lupco Palevski and members suspected of committing the cruel act of killing 14-year-old Vanja Gjercevska and 74-year-old Pance Zezovski.

The party reports it will freeze membership, functions and activities of the accused until the end of the process.

Spasovski called “monster”, opposition charges him as “associate”

Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, the day he came up with details of the investigation, had vowed to do anything to arrest the kidnapper and execute the victims.

I'm going to do everything, I promise you, this person or if you prefer, this monster, whose tracks we're following as soon as he steps down into our land, is brought to justice”, Spasovski has declared.

However, the opposition accused Spasovski of having unreasonableness in the investigation and asked the Interior Minister if Palco really had information about him and therefore fled across the border.

But Spasovski denied these accusations, while on the evening of December 5th, when Palevski's arrest in Turkey announced that all those who misuse the case are “amateur politicians”, while all others who continue to incite hatred and spread disinforms will be accountable, Report REL.
