The suspect man slaughtered two police officials before being shot by one of the injured officials.
Suspect has been taken to the hospital, where he is confirmed as dead.
At a news conference from the hospital, police have confirmed that they received a call and a young woman said that his cousin is killing family members”.
Two police officials have arrived at the area and have seen a man walking in a suitcase.
When officials tried to talk to him, he pulled out a knife and stabbed an official in the neck and chest, and the second in the head.
One of the cops, then, managed to pull the gun and shoot the suspect.
When reinforcements arrived in that area, they found an 11-year-old on the doorstep.
She was taken to the hospital, but later died of injuries.
Emergency services, later, have found three dead bodies at home -- a 12-year-old, a 44-year-old and a man in his 30s.
A 61-year-old woman has been sent to the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
Police believe all the victims have died from knife attacks.
New York police have identified the suspect as the 39-year-old Courtney Gordon, who was previously arrested for family violence in the Bronx.
He's been visiting several family members in Queens at the time of the attack. / REL
