According to foreign media, since the cease-fire last week, Israel has expanded its ground attack on the southern half of the Gaza Belt by pushing to Khan Yunis.
At the same time, both sides have reported an increase in fighting in northern Gaza.
Israel has said its campaign is advancing, and national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi said Israeli forces had killed at least 7,000 Hamas militants so far, without providing more details.
Israeli spokesman in Arabic, Avichay Adriee, posted a map on the social network “X”, showing six blocks of Khan Yunis' number that residents were told to evacuate “urgently”.
They included parts of the city center that had not previously submitted to such commands.
Israel issued similar warnings before attacking eastern parts of the city, and residents said they feared that new evacuation orders warned a possible attack.
