Otherwise two months ago, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he has been willing to sign the Agreement for normalisation of relations with Serbia, and a draft of Western diplomats for the Association of Serb-run municipalities in Brussels, but the Serbian side has not been interested in something like that.
According to him, Kosovo's Constitutional Court will give the value for constitutionality of the draft.
The “Draft for self-representation, which they have brought, is carefully written against the letter and Constitution and the laws of Kosovo, and that if it was signed, it was envisioned to control the Constitutional Court immediately, namely, that the Constitutional Court provides assessment of the constitutionality of this proposal in response to”, Kurti said.
Kosovo and Serbia have reached agreement on Association in 2013 and later 2015 on principles for its establishment.
But in 2015, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo has found that the agreement is not in full harmony with the Constitution.
That the draft for Acsolenation should be submitted to the Constitution has also been expressed by the ambassador of the United States of America, Jeffrey Hovenier.
In some statements, he has reaffirmed that the latest assessment should be given to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
