Tornadoes and big storms hit Tennessee on Saturday night, leaving at least six people dead.
Extreme weather in parts of the southern state of America caused damage to buildings and power cuts.
Three people died in the northern district of this country's capital, Nashville.
Two adults and a child lost their lives in Clarksville, about 50 miles [80 km] northwest.
Clarksville Chairman Joe Pitts declared a state of emergency, including a curfew starting at 9:00.
The heart hurts for the families of those who lost their loved ones. The city is ready to help them in this difficult time”, Pitts said.
Twenty-three other people have been injured and treated in hospital in this part of the country.
The National Weather Service issued several tornado warnings in Tennessee on Saturday. / REL/
