Specialised Prosecutor Kimberly West confirmed that witness protection remains a priority for the SPS.

“It is very important to ensure that Kosovo citizens speak to the truth and without threats to their experiences, not only is this institution capable of providing justice, but also about the rule of law in Kosovo,” said West.

Haxhi Shala was transferred to the DHSK's Prosecution Centre on 12 December, meanwhile, the preliminary procedure judge confirmed the indictment against him on December 4th 2023.
