Former commander Topi is being accused of obstructing justice management.
The three points of the indictment to him are: The obstruction of official persons in carrying out official tasks through serious threats, obstructing official persons in performing official duties by participating in a group's joint action, and intimidation during criminal procedure.
According to the Confirmed Act, between at least April 5th 2023 and April 12th 2023, Shala, in association with other individuals, among whom Sabit Januzi and Ismet Bahtiari were co-ordinated as a group before and after personal contacts of Januzi and Bahtyar with witness 1.
It is also said that, with Shala's instructions, Januz and Bahtiari each met with witness 1 on two separate occasions to encourage him to withdraw testimony, or not to give evidence in official processes in front of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, among which through severe threat or promise of profit.
According to Aktakuza, <x0 this behavior shows that Mr. Shala was intended to intimidate witness 1 and prevent official persons, including prosecutors and investigators of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, in carrying out official duties”. /Kallancosova
