Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has called Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban a sincere friend because of the support he has given Belgrade, while on the other hand as “disturbing” has considered Turkey's president's statement, Recep Tayip Erdogan, for support of Kosovo's independence.
Those comments, Vucic has made, referring to Erdogan's statement after meeting with Kosovo's president on Friday, where he said Turkey would continue to boost its support for recognising Kosovo's independence by non-acnocious countries.
“Erdogan said he will continue to work harder for Kosovo's international recognition, which is a slightly heavier sentence for us”, Vuciq stressed, broadcast Serbian media.
On the other hand, praise for Orban has taken place after the same has stated a few days ago that if the European Council included the Base Agreement [Brussels, February 27th, Ohrid, on March 18th] in the framework of negotiations between Serbia and the European Union, then Serbia can always count on official Budapest.
“Orba is our sincere friend, who supports Serbia and who often risks his position to help Serbia. Therefore, I thank the Serbian president indefinitely”
Otherwise, Turkish President Erdogan after Friday's meeting with President Osmani has declared that the state he is leading will continue to boost its support for recognising Kosovo's independence by non-acnocident countries.
In a media communiqué issued by the President's Office Communications Directorate, it says among other things, that Erdogan has stressed that the <x0nd Street towards peace and stability in the region where Kosovo is located runs through dialogue”.
On the other hand, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban, on December 8th, had stressed that if the European Council included the Base Agreement [Brussels, February 27th, Ohrid, on March 18th] in the framework of negotiations between Serbia and the European Union, then Serbia can always account in official Budapest.
The “is a very complex issue and Serbia can always count on Hungary”, Orban has said, without showing how to calculate the official Belgrade in Hungary.
