PISA results for 2022 were disappointing for Kosovo, as this organisation ranked 76th out of 80 participating states.

Education Minister Arberie Nagavci argued for poor results, citing the situation after the pandemic.

The results that have been made public have been expected, given that we have had a situation behind the pandemic, where learning has developed with problems. This has been expected. We add that the pandemic has brought other challenges to teachers and students because of lack of conditions. Here we add to the change in governance. But we've had a focus on developing policies for improving quality in education”

On the other hand, organisation's director for increased quality in education, Rron Djindovci estimates the test result P ISA, tells of the continuing destruction of the educational system.

“ ... after the government's arrival Kurti, we were hoping to at least stay where we were, but the situation has gotten worse, it's growing functional illiteracy, and we're doing a lot worse than the countries we can compete with, the test. P The ISA took place in many countries in the same time period and the pandemic has been around the world, and the result is that you've never thought about how the states have performed, and it's the day that there's been a decline in the whole world, but it's growing the number of students who've performed poorly, and in other places, students who have performed well have turned out a little bit bit less”, Djindov told Rev21.

For poor results on test P ISA, the chairman of the education union, Nundman Jashar, even in this case comes to the defense of his colleagues, appeared to blame institutions for not investing enough for conditions and more advanced labour tools.

“... State is challenging teachers with hard working conditions because my colleagues are competing with last century's foam and sole tools, government Kurti will have to help teachers with inspectors and create new conditions in ball-lapped schools and technology to look at advanced countries, we could barely start school year, so we don't get where we want to be, Jashar said.

Consider Kosovo's poor score on test P ISA, even in 2018, former Deputy Minister of Education Nehat Mustafa, estimates that institutions have no priority in education.

“... After publishing the results of the PISA, countries that really have priority education form emergency national groups in the field of education so that they can mobilise the results, while we have not seen any information from the education ministry on this issue that shows what level we are at, so I think that we should review the methods of evaluation and gather all the shortcomings and become a strategic plan on how to better stop<x1, Mustafa said.

According to test results P ISA, 83% of Kosovo students do not understand what they read, while in math they fare even worse. Besides P The ISA has praised Kosovo as one of the countries at risk in schools, lack of technological equipment and increased poverty in students.
