Kosovo Football Federation (FFK) has issued an announcement following U's recent decision EFA for non-developing matches at stadium “Fadil Vokri”.

This decision recently affected the Balkans, which the upcoming match against Victoria Plzen in the Conference League will play in Tirana's “Air Albania”.

This decision came because neither the “Fadil Vokri” is meeting the conditions needed for the game.

The Kosovo Football Federation, among other things, announced that the stadium “Fadil Vokrri” will undergo a complete renovation.

The NFFK also announced that in co-operation with the MKRS, it will make the full renovation of the field of this stadium. The investment in the ministry will be conducted.

FFK President Agim Ademi and Minister Hajrula Ceku have agreed to transform this stadium's carpet into the most high-level hybrid field.

So, from now on to complete renovation, football activity at stadium “Fadil Vokrri” will cease. As a result, friendly national matches from March will also take place abroad.

Kosovo's “Football Forum wants to announce public opinion about the stadium's situation “Fadil Vokri” and the U decision EFA for not holding matches in this stadium.

Given the established field situation, the Kosovo Football Federation in co-operation with the Ministry of Sports will make full restoration of the field in this stadium, which will be conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

President Agim Ademi and Minister Hajrlla Ceku have agreed to transform the carpet of this stadium into the hybrid field at the highest level, as it begins with work from the base of the field: management, the new irrigation system, and for the first time this field will have the heating system.

This project will provide a modern field, as in all the world football arenas, deserving of the stadium Fadil Vokrrio and which U has requested EFA.

So, from now on to complete renovation, football activity at stadium “Fadil Vokrri” will cease. As a result, friendly national matches from March will also take place abroad.

However, we assure the opinion that the stadium “Fadil Vokri” will be ready to welcome national teams and clubs from the next edition.

In this case we regret that the Balkans will no longer need Victoria Plzen's match in the League of Conference to play at Air Albania, but we are convinced that in the future there will no longer be a need for our clubs and nationals to play away from their fans, because in addition to investing in the “Fadil Vokri” stadiums, such as the city stadium in Gjilan and the stadium Yakadem Yasari<2>, as other projects are being implemented in the near future.

It will be stressed that we've come to this situation because of the huge burden of this field, because “Fadil Vokri” is the only stadium that is classified by the U. EFA. Since we haven't had another stadium of such standards, we've had to play all the matches and the stadium over and over again.

Although we recently had the expert from W. EFA with advice and field maintenance assistance, and we have engaged a specialised company, weather conditions that have dominated our country since the match with Romania have caused the area to become largely damaged. As a result of poor, but match - load management, it has been impossible for the field to become optimum, although sometimes thanks to the dedication of the field maintenance staff has managed to restore grass and the field to be ready for game”. /Gazza Express
