Former Kosovo Ambassador to Northern Macedonia Gjergj Dedaj is witnessing at the Special Court in The Hague.
Asked what he thinks of former President Ibrahim Rugova, he has said he was the founder of the state of Kosovo, while the other former president, Hashim Thaci, according to him has concluded the independence process.
“President Rugova is the founder of the state of Kosovo, while leader Hashim Thaci has completed the Kosovo independence process”, he has said.
Dedaj has been asked about his political career over the years, he has responded by saying that from the last position -- that of Ambassador to Northern Macedonia -- he left violently from Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, who, according to him, placed her husband, don Sadriun.
Furthermore, he has indicated that because of Serbian terror, he was forced to give up teaching.
Because Serbia had exercised terror and genocide, we were forced to give up teaching, and at all times make my capacities available, internationalising the Kosovo issue, and organising life. Our schools had been closed, our teachers had been disfellowshipped, and we wanted to keep our life, even though conditions were difficult. That's why I quit teaching”, he said.
Dedaj has said that during the war he has staged a series of protests against Serbian occupation and the violence created.
In his testimony, Dedaj has stressed that Serbia's regime has killed 12 family members, among them two minors.
I have heart injury, I have the wire that Serbia has caused me. I have billboards in my heart, in my soul. Serbia has killed 12 family members, two minors... In this room here in front of Milosevic criminal I spoke face-to-face...”, he said.
