Gigi Hadid apologises after her Israeli statements

Hours later, she apologized for her “malpractice”, which she pointed out was reckless. In particular, Gigi Hadid said that “is important for me to share real stories about the difficulties Palestinians have endured and continue to endure, but this weekend I shared something that I did not check or think before I reposted“.
After her post, she stressed that “wanted to show ways in which international law is being violated by the Israeli government“, noting that Palestinian children captured by Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) are treated differently from children in Israel.
“Unfortunately, I used the wrong example to highlight this point and I am sorry for that,” she stressed. “Want for human freedom and treatment for Palestinians and security for Jews can be important for the same person, including me. I'm human and I make mistakes. But I consider myself responsible for these mistakes”, the model stated in another part of her post.
