The chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Thomas Szunyog, has called on Kosovo's citizens since January 1st, 2024, when visa liberalisation will happen, they respect the rules.
He, along with German Ambassador to Kosovo Joern Rohde, that of France Oliver Guerot and Italy Antonello De Riu, have participated in the launch of the information campaign for visa liberalisation.
Szunyog has added that Kosovars can visit Europe and their family but do not have the right to work and stay in European countries for long.
Visa liberalisation will take place on 1 January next year. Kosovars will be able to travel to Europe to see its beauty, European cities and their families”.
It is important that the campaign has begun and explains to people what visa liberalisation is and what is not”.
People need to know there are rules. The rules must be followed. All must understand that visa liberalisation means visa liberalisation for tourists. It's not about long stays, it's not about work, it's not about students”. / EO
