“sing nationalist songs” -Serbs attack with stones and heavy tools the Albanian house of Medvedja

Ruhan Muharrej's family from Medvedja last night was threatened by a group of masked people.

Serbs who have been singing nationalistic songs for about half an hour have also thrown heavy stones and tools toward their home.

The newspaper Insider has contacted Besart Muharremi, Ruhan's son. He said competent authorities have been notified of these threats. His parents were interviewed today by Serbian police in Medvedja.

My “parents were threatened last night during late hours by a group of 15 people in Medvedja. They've been singing nationalist songs and throwing stones at parents' cars and house”, Muharremi told Inseder.

He said, among other things, that O has been announced to the case. The SEU, but also the Albanian Embassy.

Muharrem said Serbs are constantly victimised, but the same exert pressure and threats against the municipality Albanians.
