“ ...the tables have been removed from the daughter of now Minister for Return Radomirovic, who is a known smuggler and he is my first carburner”, Radunovic said.
The accused mentioned an occasion when he had stopped a drinking truck, which had entered through smuggling, but said that from the police station's own commander (Zvezdan Savpasojevic) the truck had been released and was apologised to the commander for police ban, the Justice Voctation “reports.
He went to the contractor and apologized for stopping his truck. There are many reports that the biggest smuggler has burned down my first”, Radunovic said.
Also, Radunovic said he was arrested only on the basis of the manipulations of the former prosecutor, Syla Hoxha. He said that during the time he was a police official, he had taken legal action in order to stop smuggling.
And his protector, lawyer Zivojn Yukanovic, during the final address said he expects a legal acquittal against Radunovic from the court.
Also, Spasojevic's defender, lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic, said the Special Prosecutor's indictment is unacceptable, that no damage to Kosovo's budget has been found, and sought to issue a free trial for its defence.
In addition, Comprovic's defender, lawyer Milos Delevich, said there is not enough material and personal evidence out of the indictment, alleging in the end that, against Comprovic, the liberal act.
Comprovic said that in this criminal case, he was forced to say he does not want to speak any more, adding in the end that the police investigation does only Kosovo Police Inspectorate, which in the concrete case has not occurred.
Lawyer Asdren Hoxha, defender of accused Durlevic, said the indictment is short of time, country, way and means by which criminal acts have been committed, allocating in the end to issue upon it a free trial.
Likewise, the defender of the accused Bahtiri, lawyer Zehra Verbovci, said the prosecution has failed to provide reliable evidence to base the indictment, in the end proposing that a loose judgment be pronounced against Bahtiri.
On the other hand, Plana defender lawyer Vehbi Beqiri said the investigation in this case was not adequate at first, proposing that a loose judgment be issued against Beqiri.
The defender of the accused Red, lawyer Isa Salihu, said that the evidence administered during the trial, has not been confirmed the conduct of the criminal act in co-ordination “The use of the official position”, proposing the end to issue a free trial.
Tomashevic's defender, lawyer Gani Zabel, said he has been waiting for Prosecutor Cerkini to step down on charges against Tomashevic, proposing in the end that the plethora act be issued against him.
On the other hand, Tomovic's defender, lawyer Ali Rexha delivered the final word in writing, saying that in all, it remains the final word without removing any points and expectations.
Similarly, Vujinovic's defender, lawyer Srdjan Mitrovich, said his client has done the police's work professionally, demanding from the court that vojinovic issue a legal act.
Meanwhile, Merovci's defender, lawyer Fatlume Korca-Sekiraqa, demanded that her client be taken over the extenuating circumstances of guiltyness and that a lower sentence be given him.
Defending accused Lazovic, lawyer Predrag Milkoviq, said the court should not be thanks to the conviction of Merovci's statements, as he said they are controversial and that in the end demanded that Lazovic be issued free trial.
Gogic's defender, lawyer Musa Damatti, thanked special prosecutor Burim Cherkini for withdrawing from his client from all charges.
Gogic himself asked the court to return bail on the grounds of his judgment.
After giving the final word by all the accused, prosecutor Cerkini said he felt the obligation to invite the accused Comprovic to go to Special Prosecutor's offices if there is anything to announce or declare.
Afterward, the chairman of the court, Judge Mentor Bajraktari, announced the trial review to be completed, setting October 27th for the proclamation of the court's judgment.
Otherwise, at the session held on June 16, 2020, the 33 accused have denied guilt, while the two accused K. S, who passed away and Nysret Jashar, had pleaded guilty only to illegal possession.
Along with 20 northern police officers, in this case smuggling goods are accused of Izet Jashari, he lives Morina, Milazim Januzi, Nezir Bilalli, Nysret Jashari, Sabri Isufi, Jevdet Jashar, Arben Isufi, Bajram Uka, Besnik Morina and Faton Isufi, but the case was isolated.
