Milan Radoic, a controvers businessman who has been linked to various crimes, from drug trafficking to the murder of politician Oliver Ivanovic, according to his claims is the mastermind of the armed conflict in Kosovo's Banjska, where four people lost their lives. Radoic has been questioned in the police on Saturday, while the investigation of the case has been taken by the High Public Prosecutor and asks how much he will be ready to illuminate all the circumstances of this case, as headed by prosecutor Nenad Stefanovic, whom professional opinion considers close to current power.
On Friday, through his lawyer Goran Petroniyevic, Radoic has claimed responsibility for the armed conflict in the village of Banjska, while the next day he was questioned by police as a citizen. After his session, it was announced that the subject of conflict in Banjska will be taken by Belgrade's High Public Prosecutor, in charge of senior prosecutor Nenad Stefanovic.
Perhaps this would not be so strange if Stefanovic's image and work had not been linked to multiple relatives in the past period, especially those whose branches led to the tops of the state. That was the case with the inspectors' prosecutor who discovered “Jovanjica”, then the police prosecutor who discovered the details of the accident caused at Dedinje Nikola Petrovic, vice president of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, but many other people.
That is why professional opinion rightly suspects that the Public High Prosecution is willing to illuminate all the circumstances of the events in Banjska. Especially in light of the fact that Radojic, the conflict organiser, is practically protected by law in recent years.
In an interview for Nova.rs, lawyer Bozo Prelevic shows that we are unlikely to experience something like that.
“Therefore, the Public High Prosecutor will surely initiate a procedure, and how it will continue, I can only speculate. These assumptions are derived from the history of relations with Radocichi. First, the prosecution gave up prosecution of his two cases, which I know was accused of narcotics. Second, a ghost procedure regarding the circumstances in which Oliver Ivanov was killed is under way against Radoic. “S 3rd, of all statements by Mr. Vuciq's top position and Radojic on the Serbian list in Kosovo, is seen as a favourite member of the Radoiciq-Veselinovicq” doubles, Prelevic says.
He shows that there will be consequences, but he is not sure how much punishment will be called.
Unofficially, I have heard that President Vuciq himself has made a lot of efforts to get Radociqi and a group of people he led in a seemingly harmless adventure from that corridor, with more victims than the public had been informed. When you give a gun to such a person, then it's logical that you are in a special relationship where any Radojchiqi's statement can cost you. So I think Radoic will get a severe sentence in the form of winning tender”, Prelevic says.
