Nazarko: Kosovo has teenage behaviour, Albania is gaining regional importance

Mentor Nazarko in an interview in “NeWSur” in ABC has made an analysis of the Berlin Process Summit held in Tirana, stopping even in relations between leaders of Western Balkan states. During this interview, Nazarko said that the Berlin process should not be seen only as a political process, [...]
During this interview, Nazarko said that the Berlin process should not only be seen as a political process, as according to him has great economic significance, while adding that a good impetus of achieving this summit was also “The Open Balkans”.
The Berlin Process is not only political but also economic. The open Balkans was an incentive for the Berlin process to gain rigorousity”, Nazarko said.
Stopped in relations between the two states, Albania and Kosovo, Nazarko said he sees Kosovo as a new, still immature “states”.
The Berlin Process is perhaps even a way to curb Russian influence, but to give hope to public opinion that the integration process is something real. Now to ask for money, you have to do projects, the defect of the Berlin process that the Open Balkans have identified, now to find a common agenda, meet with Chancellor Scholz and the Macron Presidentship with Balkan countries' leaders is a little difficult. The Open Balkans had an important dimension, so “Open Balkans” relaxed relations between leaders. This also affects those bilateral or bilateral dialogue. But Kosovo is suffering, I like to find a parallel in the individual's life, adolescence. Kosovo as a new state is suffering equally recklessly, as is institutional puberty. If Kosovo had a problem with Albania alone, I would be with Kosovo. But there are problems with other countries, and I think the problem lies with Kosovo. So it's the infertility of a new state, so of course it has to be admitted that it's also the fault of Albania, because Rama should have invested more time in overcoming obstacles. Albania should have been involved in processes that would affect Kosovo. But as I said, Kosovo is still at “the syndrome of an unripe child”. But both the Thaci government and the Haradinaj government have had this syndrome. But Albania, the mother state, in all meanings, due to regional constructive policy, is gaining this international importance, and this is a huge help for Kosovo. Now the approach we have to see Serbia with the eyes of Kosovo is not realistic approach, but a populist approach. But if Kosovo authorities or people know Serbia, why they have not succeeded in dialogue. We need to find mistakes on our own. I would like Albania to be involved in major cultural operations, or supporters. As for Abazovic, he is someone who has defeated Serbs in peacetime. So he, has imposed the Serb factor in Montenegro, to accept Kosovo, has normalised or imposed as a normal rule carrying the Albanian flag. And he did all of this in the quietest way possible without creating controversy. So Dritan Abazovic is an example of efficiency”, Nazarko said, among other things.
