Albanian MP in Serbia Shaip Kamberi has talked about the rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley.
He stressed that Albania should play a role in protecting the rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley, as Serbia views them as enemies.
Among other things, he underlined that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is viewed as a mechanism that can provide answers to their demands for Albanian rights.
The pessimist says he is an informed optimist. Because of Kosovo's circumstances, Albanians in the Presevo Valley are considered enemies and reject all of our demands. The EU and the US must make greater justice for Serbia to change its approach to Albanians. Here we see dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia as a mechanism that can provide answers to our demands”.
Because our demands are linked to the standards of the Council of Europe, Albania as a member state in international mechanisms will have to play a bigger role in this regard. We are demanding that the Republic of Albania and Kosovo build separate state programmes for the position of Albanians in the Presevo Valley of”, he said. /Euronews. al
