MP The PDK, Xhavit Haliti, has said the terrorists who attacked Kosovo Police in Zvecan Banjsk, were intent on killing several Serb civilians, and then justifying Serbia's military intervention in the country's north.
According to him, the plan has been to notify KFOR, as if they are introducing the army to Kosovo to protect the Serbs.
The “Project has been to kill several Serb civilians and then create the possibility of Serbia acting militarily in the direction of the north, to justify the action Serbia would announce KFOR and others in the name of Serb protection in the north”, he said.
“It was a plan for military intervention to take place by Serbia, creating media scenes, as they do in war propaganda, introducing murdered civilians, Kosovo police officers, dressed in Kosovo police uniforms. According to them, this project would not be judged by the international community, but would be argued that the action was made to protect civilians”, Haliti continued.
With these actions, according to him, Serbian forces would be deployed to “Iber” to fully realise Serbia's plan for dividing the north from the rest of Kosovo.
“This would bring the deployment of forces to Iber, and thus this plan, which was long done, would do what Serbia, a part of the northern Serbs that are integrated to divide the northern part.
Haliti has said that AKI has had precise information about what is being done in the north.
He said he disagrees with the inaction to prevent the terrorist group's action.
He said it was known that the weapons were placed in two churches, in a large warehouse and in some fuel facilities.
“Actions are designed to capture weapons in the large warehouse, but sė found, because it seems they [Serbs] had information on it. The painting from the church warehouse has been made to avoid investigating the police, which has taken action. The event, which took place within the group, who announced the police [Afrim Bunnjak], who were placed in two trucks and why the special forces didn't go, I don't know how much they were prepared for that” action, he said.
