“Treps” on strike

One of the miners who has asked not to be disclosed his identity to Clancosova. tv has stressed that there are several reasons why they have established this form of protest.

We had an agreement with the food coupon we had eaten, then they brought a letter for each worker to put money in the account and we would buy our own food supply. This has been interrupted by December 31st, we have been paying our own food since the beginning of this year”, the miner said.

He has added that the management of “Treps” has stated that by February the agreement will start to implement that the money is placed in the accounts.

That's the same case for Kloncosova. tv has also spoken to the chairman of the Independent Union of Milors of “Treps”, Ibrahim Jonuzi, who declared they were not told there would be a strike.

Regarding the miners' demands, he said they also require salary increases, except for the question of food supply.

“We have held meetings we are in the process of holding meetings, we are holding negotiations, I have called on the miners to return to work and negotiate on this issue”, Jonuzi said.
