Jerusalem: Seven dead and 10 wounded after a gun attack

Seven people are dead and another 10 wounded in a shooting attack in the synagogue on the outskirts of Jerusalem, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said.

Israeli ambulance service disclosed the death toll at five and said five other people were injured and transported to hospitals, including a 70-year-old woman, Reuters reports.

Israeli police described it as a <x0... terrorist attack” and said it took place in a synagogue in Neve Yaʹakov, considered by Israelis as a neighbourhood inside Jerusalem, while Palestinians and most of the international community consider it to be illegally annexed land after the Middle East war in 1967.
