Confirmed: Libya has not recognised Kosovo either

The Kosovo Embassy in Qatar has announced that Ambassador Fuad Morina has met with Libya's Ambassador Mohammed Moustafa Elafi, with whom they have discussed bilateral relations and their strengthening opportunities.

This meeting comes after the statement by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who claimed 9 states have drawn recognition of Kosovo. Libya was among the countries mentioned.

“Ambassador Fuad Morina has met Libya's ambassador, St. T. Mohammed Moustafa Ellafi. During the meeting, bilateral relations and possibilities for empowering them” have been discussed, the announcement said.

Several other states have also exposed Serbian claims of attracting recognition.
