The Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has told Gazeta Express on Tuesday that it expects KEDS to send the company “Electricity” and the commercial agreement.
Based on the agreement signed by Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovovic, it is said that “Elexever's company will handle the energy billing for citizens of four northern municipalities”.
But there is also a set of ERE obligations in agreement, KEDS, KESCO and COST also have “Electricity”.
ZRre, in response to the newspaper, indicates that there has been communication between all sides, claiming that a series of obligations have been successfully carried out.
“KEDS, KESCO and COST have had continued communications with Elektrosever on meeting the obligations stemming from the ZRE Board's decision. COSTT has long sent to Elektrosever all necessary technical agreements to operate on the energy market in Kosovo, as they are: The Agreement for Access to Market Rules and the Agreement on Balance Obligations. While the KED has submitted the Locking Agreement, the expectations are for KEDS to submit to Elektrosver and the commercial agreement on providing services”, said in response.
The ZERE Parliamentary Obligations are part of the 2013 Energy Agreement and the EU Relief Conclusions on Implementation of the 2015 Energy Agreement and the Energy Agreement Guide signed in Brussels.
But not even the company "Electorever”, according to Z. The RRE has not accomplished all obligations.
Consequently, it has warned legal measures if they do not abide by the agreement, as Z. The RRE is authorized for granting license which it did months ago.
The “Despite the progress of jobs under the terms of COST, KEDS and KESCO in finalising the above-mentioned agreements has been noted to have stalled in their finalisation by Elektrosever. As for finalisation, if no demands are met as outlined in the Z verdict. RRE after 100 days of issuance date for supply, sir. The RRE will take all legal actions under legislation in force, in accordance with Energy Agreement Implementation Guide Article 8 of the date 21.06.2022”, said by ZRE.
The power problem with the northern Serbs has caused their current to be paid by the state wallet for years.
And the state wallet is mostly filled with citizens' money outside the north. This has also caused criticism.
Albin Kurti, Kosovo prime minister, had named the June agreement successful, saying that the Serb-exposed current would be billed.
Kosovo is also facing an energy crisis, until the situation where power cuts have occurred even during the two weeks of August, period where energy consumption is not high.
At this time, implementation of the agreement with “Elekroser” is required.
