The current VV chairman, Albin Kurti, who is also targeting a term at the party's helm, has today unveiled his 10-point platform.
Kurti spoke today at a rally before party activists, where he ranked priorities for the upcoming term as Vetevendosje chairman.
One of the 10 main points of the platform is the promotion of union organisation in the private sector, at a time when Kurti is conducting a war with public sector workers' unions, which require salary increases to cover digital inflation.
Even in previous years, but even when in opposition, Kurt promised co-operation with unions.
“The government will be union partner”, he stated.
However, after coming to the government, the government's partnership with trade unions still does not seem to have come true. In fact, Kurt's experience with unions so far is totally bitter.
He is in an effort to close an agreement with the Union of Independent Unions of Kosovo, to return from four-week strikes tens of thousands of workers at work.
