Slovak Minister: I expect oil shipments to resume within hours in Central Europe

Russian state-run pipeline operator “Transneft” said on Tuesday he had stopped remittances through the southern branch of the Druzba oil pipeline, which flows through Ukraine to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
“Transneft” cited complications due to European Union sanctions for his action on August 4th, saying his payment to the company's Ukrainian counterpart was rejected.
Slovak Minister Richard Sulk said the payments would be made Wednesday by the Slovak refinery “Slovnaft” after both Russian and Ukrainian sides agreed to the solution.
