Rakiq: Radoicic is the biggest authority for Kosovo Serbs, was with them when barricades were established

These statements, Rakiq made for the Politika newspaper.

“Radoicicovic has the largest undisputed authority for Serbs in this area, both south and north of Ibri. This is the result of his serious political work and commitments, among which the most important is the unity of the Serbian people, especially in the political sense, unity that was seen for the first time since the 1999” conflict, Rakic said.

Rakic confirmed that Radoci was present when the barricades were established, a day before the two decisions of the Kosovo government for reciprocity on license plates and documents were enacted.

Rakiq further said that those who work against the interests of the Serbian people believe that “eliminating it would destroy that unity” and that the force of his authority was best seen on the night the Serbs established blockades and Radocicicic, as Rakiq said it was with them and the “met with force, but also quietly”.

Rakiq has stressed that the situation in the north is now calm, but that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statements in whose government Rakiq is minister are against dialogue being held in Brussels.

He has accused the Pristina government of increasing tensions and turning citizens' attention away from real problems, endangers stability and fosters tensions.
