The U.S. chief Democrat says her delegation's visit honoured the non-responsible <x0).
The solidarity of America with Taiwan's 23 million inhabitants is more important today than ever before” and that its visit “in no way opposes the long policy of the United States”, she added.
The United States continues to oppose unilateral efforts to change the status quo,” concluded Pelosi.
Otherwise it is the first official visit to Taiwan by a head of the United States House of Representatives in the last 25 years. /PERISCOP/
