Osmani: Waiting for Albania to be even further Kosovo's voice in international arena

After meeting with Albania's president, Kosovo's first member of state, Vjosa Osmani has said he expects Albania to be even further a voice of Kosovo in the international arena.

“we enjoy Albania's achievements and count on your support as Kosovo moves on the same steps in integration processes. During your leadership we expect Albania to be further our voice where it is given the option of”, President Osmani has said.

Osmani has said Kosovo's strategic goal remains NATO membership and the European Union for what it has stressed that Kosovo will apply for EU candidate status by the end of this year.

At this time when the security architecture is challenging, security has become priority, we are making full co-ordination with strategic partners so that our region feels secure. For the situation in northern Kosovo, the institutions are committed to continuing in full co-ordination with international partners, preparations are being made to implement our” decisions, Osmani has said.
