After meeting with him, Havenier at a media proposal said Rakiqi has suggested the US position on several issues.
“I reminded him of some of the US positions on these issues, including the reciprocity measures the Government of Kosovo has taken. From our perspective they consist of the Brussels Agreement”, Hovenier said.
He said they have also talked about the concerns the Serb community has in Kosovo.
Hovenier also spoke of the importance of the Brussels summit between Kosovo and Serbia.
“We agreed on the importance of having a meeting between President Vuciq and Prime Minister Kurti in Burksel this month, and the need to find some ways to descalate some of these questions”.
