Walker said he tried to bring word to Osman's Kurt to show they should understand the importance of the United States.
Let me explain my disappointment. I was disappointed, for example, that the government now took more than a year to come to Washington for a visit. I think the relationship between Washington and Pristina is extremely important, but for that long time, the government went to Berlin, the capitals of Europe and other countries, but didn't come to Washington. I tried to send word to Albin Kurti, president [Vyosa] Osmani, who must really come to Washington, and prove that they understand the importance of relations with the United States”, Walker told Albanian Post.
In addition, he said that on Kurt's 14-day visit to the US, he had not been contacted by the first of the government.
I was disappointed that I was completely contacted. I didn't know they were coming, until they left, and I felt their visits weren't worth a lot of time, he said.
