On Wednesday, July 27th, the letter of the Authority for Information on former state security documents has been made to Parliament Speaker Lindita Nikola.
In the document, the name of the top politician of the state turns out to be former President Ilir Meta.

According to “document”, some important images -- “si A.D., Th. S, S.H., J. S, D.C. and I. M, which has had the certificate of purity of the image, figures in documents created by the former state security, cases that should be taken into account in your assessment regarding the decision to propose for legal changes”.
The Authority also writes that, “in order that such situations will not be repeated again and in persecution of the goal to enable those exercising state duties, much more those subjects exercising high tasks, some changes should be made in the Electoral Code”.
A day earlier, the Board of Information Authority on State Security Files urged Albania's Assembly to change the law on files in the country, because it favours senior politicians and deputies of Albania's Parliament, who are not punished by being state security collaborators and even worse protected by a particular clause, if they have passed “ ” of what was called the Poverty Commission and after Bezhani after 1997.
In this regard, there has been a reaction by Ilir Meta's associate, Teddy Blushi, saying they have the concern of communism's supervisors and asked them to issue every document so that they are as transparent as possible.
